Add email accounts on iPhone - Apple Mail iOS 14+
This article will assist you in setting up your iPhone with your Hosted Email mailbox. This article assumes that you have iOS 13 installed. We recommend running the latest version of iOS. This will ensure your phone has the latest features and security patches.
- On the home screen, tap the Settings icon.
- Within Settings, scroll down and tap Mail
- Tap Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Tap Other, at the bottom
- Tap Add Mail Account
- The next screen will ask for basic account information:
- Name: Your first and last name
- Email: myname@mydomain.com
- Password: Your mailbox password
- Description: Anything you'd like!
- Tap Next
- Make sure IMAP is selected
- Enter the server details for the account which you should already have. The following is for the CloudAccess settings as an example:
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
- Incoming Mail Server
- Host name: mail.cloudaccess.net
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
- Port: 993 (may be required in Advanced settings if account fails to Verify)
- Incoming Mail Server
- Host name: mail.cloudaccess.net
- Username: Your full email address !not optional!
- Password: Your email password !not optional!
- Port: 587 (may be required in Advanced settings if account fails to Verify)
- Tap Next
- Select the desired settings and tap Save
- The account will Verify and confirm successful set up

You may get an alert that the account failed to connect and should Mail use SSL settings. YES is the correct answer.

- On the home screen, tap the Settings icon.
- Within Settings, scroll down and tap Mail
- Tap Accounts
- Select new account
- Tap Account Settings
- Tap Outgoing Mail Server SMTP
- Tap Primary Server
- Ensure Use SSL is selected (toggle switched to green)
- Server Port is correct (normally 587)
